We were lucky enough to be up in northern Sonoma Co. where it was a perfect
72 degrees, sunny, breezy, and the letterboxing was delightful... :)

We stayed home, except for forays out to find cool venues nearby. Our
air conditioner died Friday evening. With Lodi temperatures around
112 - 115, we "worked" hard to keep the house cool while waiting for a
repairman. He came, didn't have the part, and is supposed to get back
to us today.

I manager to find a little time Sunday afternoon and traveled down
into the valley collecting boxes in Davis, Dixon and Elmira. Heat can
be overcome with a little concentration and a plentiful amount of
water. (Elmira has not much changed in the last 100 years.)
